Proces water recycling

Normally oil mill will consume about 1.8% of water to process FFB and it is using treated water. All of this water will finally flow to effluent treatment plant, normal influent generation are 80% of ffb process.
By implementing as below, we able to consume only 0.7%-0.8% of water for processing and able to bring down effluent generation to 60%.
1. Use condensate for dilution. ( able to reduce 20% of effluent generation).
2. Recycle turbine cooling water, vacuum drier sealing water beck to catchment pond.
3. Sat desander flushing interval and flushing period according to actual time of sand removal time from sand tank.
4. Set correct decanter flushing interval according to manufacturer recommendation and balance with oil loss.
5. Replace all leaking water tab at mill toilet and mill cleaning pipe.
6. Ensure no valve leak at water softener and pressure sand filters.
7. Right sterilizing setting and will reduce oil dripping from cages bottom and able to prologue marshaling yards cleaning.
8. Tap rain water from mill roof and contain it in a 150mt tank, can be used during maintenance week for cleaning.
The most significant result are reduction in effluent final discharge BOD.
